Contest Details
Apila Ediciones runs the First Printing Award with the Aragón School of Design and support from Zaragoza City Council, to help illustrators publish their first professional picture book. Entrants send a PDF of a finished book, or a layout with at least five finished double-page spreads, of up to 40 pages with text in Spanish or English. One winner is chosen in March 2027 and published within the year.
