Contest Details
Run by the Institute of Materials, Minerals and Mining (IOM3), Starpack Students challenges learners to answer real packaging briefs set by industry sponsors. The 2027 briefs include repurposed metal industrial cans, a washing liquid pack, accessible packaging, in-store display for DIY products, packaging for Mars and recyclability by design. Entries are a written report plus design boards, and winners are celebrated at a ceremony in July 2027.
